Maelstrom Specification

System Overview

  • Type: Air injector aerator for ponds and lakes
  • Purpose: Produces highly oxygenated zones to support fish during periods of low dissolved oxygen
  • Best Use: Shallow lakes and ponds under 5 ft deep, where bottom diffusers are less effective
  • Installation Depth: Operates up to 500 mm below the surface
  • Water Movement: Injects air and pushes water over 30 metres
  • Operating Principle: Venturi air injection combined with high water movement from the integral motor
